Finding the right therapist can feel difficult.
You may have spent a long time adapting yourself in order to feel accepted, understood, or emotionally safe. You may feel exhausted from masking parts of yourself, uncertain about relationships, or simply tired of carrying everything alone.
I offer LGBTQ+ affirming relational psychotherapy in Swansea, Carmarthen, and online across the UK.
Therapy can provide a space where you do not need to explain or justify who you are. A space where thoughts, feelings, relationships, and experiences can be explored with greater care, understanding, and compassion.
You May Be Struggling With
- anxiety or emotional overwhelm
- shame or self-criticism
- relationship difficulties
- burnout or exhaustion
Some people come to therapy during a crisis. Others arrive with a quieter sense that something in life no longer feels sustainable.
A Relational Approach
My work is grounded in relational psychotherapy.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms or techniques, relational therapy pays attention to how we experience ourselves in relationships with others and with ourselves. Many people find that therapy becomes a place where they can gradually feel more understood, less alone, and more connected to their own experience.
I aim to offer therapy that is:
- LGBTQ+ affirming
- trauma-informed
- collaborative
- emotionally attuned
Neurodivergence and Identity
Many LGBTQ+ adults are also neurodivergent, including people with ADHD or autistic ways of experiencing the world.
Some clients come to therapy exploring:
- masking and exhaustion
- late self-discovery
- emotional regulation
- difficulties feeling understood
You do not need a diagnosis to come to therapy.
