Therapy for LGBTQ+ and Neurodivergent Adults

You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand, or unsure how to make sense of your experiences.

I offer a thoughtful, relational space where we can work together to understand what is happening for you, at a pace that feels manageable.

  • LGBTQ+ affirming
  • Neurodiversity-affirming (including ADHD)
  • Trauma-informed

In-person sessions:

  • Swansea (Tuesday mornings)
  • Carmarthen (Wednesdays)
  • Online on Mondays and Thursdays

Sessions are £45 for 50 minutes. A free 15-minute consultation is available.

What to Expect

Therapy is not something you need to prepare for or get “right.”

In our work together:

  • You can speak freely, take time to think, or sit in silence
  • There is no expectation to explain everything clearly or immediately
  • We can go at a pace that feels manageable
  • We pay attention to patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships

The work is shaped by what you bring and what we discover together.

If You Are Neurodivergent

You are welcome to shape the therapy in ways that work for you.

For example:

  • You do not need to maintain eye contact
  • You can take time to think before responding
  • We can use more structure or more direct language if that helps
  • You do not need to label emotions precisely in order to work with them
  • If you need to bring a fidget or stim, that is fine, too.

If you are unsure what you need, we can work that out together.

First Session

Watercolour landscape of a calm river with round stepping stones leading into the distance between soft hills in muted tones.

In our first session:

  • We will explore what has brought you to therapy
  • You can share as much or as little as you want
  • We will begin to think together about what you might need

There is no expectation to “tell your whole story” immediately.

How Therapy Can Help

Therapy does not offer quick fixes, but it can support you to:

  • Understand patterns in how you think, feel, and relate to others
  • Respond differently to situations that feel overwhelming or stuck
  • Make sense of past experiences and their impact in the present
  • Develop a clearer sense of what matters to you

The direction and pace of the work will depend on your needs.

Costs and Getting Started

Sessions are £45 for 50 minutes, and I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your needs and see if we’re a good match. You can easily book a session through the button on this page.

We can agree to a ‘fixed term’, for example: six, eight or ten sessions, or we can agree to an on-going therapy.

I have a Psychotherapy Agreement, but when we first meet I will talk you through it.

Your Journey Matters

I am committed to creating a safe space for you.

To ensure this, I am studying towards a Post Graduate (level 7) diploma in Psychotherapy through the Welsh Psychotherapy Institute (WPI), bringing experience in trauma, anxiety, and ADHD. I regularly attend safeguarding training. My approach is guided by strong ethical standards.
